International and national: awards for watches
STOWA has won a large number of awards in recent years. Both end consumers and professional journalists were entitled to vote. For both groups it is clear: STOWA has an excellent price-performance ratio, the design has a high recognition value and the brand has a proper, forward-looking philosophy. Above all, the professional journalists appreciate the innovative strength and attention to detail in a very large market with very many different brands.
Golden balance wheel. German Watch Award.
The "Golden Balance Wheel - the best watches in the world" election has been held regularly since 1988, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious public awards in the watch industry worldwide. The award dates back to a first readers' poll in the UHREN-MAGAZIN magazine in 1990, and was first held under the name Goldene Unruh in 1998. Since 2000, the election has been held annually.
In 2002, the election was supplemented by an online vote in cooperation with Focus Online. Since 2005, the vote has been held in cooperation with the news magazine Focus. With the election, the readers of UHREN-MAGAZIN, Watchtime.net, Focus and Focus Online choose "The best watches in the world".
The watch candidates are nominated by the manufacturers themselves and compete in five award categories: Category A up to 2,500 €, B up to 5,000 €, C up to 10,000 €, D up to 25,000 € and E over 25,000 €.

Every year many great watch brands meet for an exhibition in Munich. During this show the most beautiful watches are chosen by the public.
Red Dot Design Award
"In search of good design" - the Red Dot Design Award is one of the largest design competitions worldwide. The Red Dot label has established itself internationally as one of the most coveted seals of quality for good design. In order to be able to expertly evaluate the diversity in this field, the award is divided into three disciplines. Each of these competitions is held once a year.

Japanese magazines are something special. Their readers as well as the journalists are very enthusiastic. STOWA is successful in Japan, every now and then we receive an award.
Diver watch election. watchtime.net
The established diving watch election of the largest German-speaking watch portal Watchtime.net goes into a new round. Watch models from various price categories face the election for the most popular diving watch of the year. Great prizes await the participants.
The great Watchtime.net diving watch election takes place annually since 2013. Watch fans vote for the best mechanical diving watches of the year in four price categories.
