At the same time, it looks to the future and marks the beginning of one of the most significant milestones in the company’s history. The watch is based on the STOWA Flieger Klassik, featuring a matte 40-mm stainless steel case with an “FL” engraving. Its design is consistently inspired by the historic STOWA pilot’s watch from the 1940s – a watch that remains the epitome of functional design to this day. With the Flieger Klassik 40 Flight to 100, STOWA deliberately returns to this design clarity and reinterprets it with the highest quality craftsmanship. True to the spirit of the historic originals, the dial completely forgoes a brand logo and a date window. This deliberate minimalism allows the characteristic pilot’s design to shine through unadulterated and focuses attention on what has always mattered: uncompromising readability and timeless functionality. The movement
Inside, a reliable Swiss automatic base movement powers the watch – the Sellita SW200. Exclusively for this special edition, the rotor is engraved with: “Flight to 100 | Limited Series | 1 out of 99”. Each watch thus commemorates a very special moment in the company’s history: the final step before STOWA reaches its centennial. With a worldwide limited run of 99 pieces, each watch holds special symbolic significance.
