How can a minimalist design of Flieger watches in a chronograph be modified without destroying the clarity of the dial? As designer of the STOWA Flieger Chrono Jörg Schauer went radically without everything which has nothing to do with time display and the measuring of it.
Thus for example the display of the small second had to disappear from the dial.
Extraordinary but consequent.
The result is an emotional classic watch in the typical Flieger design, but somewhat "different".
Case: 41 mm, stainless steel grinded by hand, water proof up to 50 mtr.
Crystals: sapphire crystals on both sides
Hands: temperature blued steel hands filled with superluminova C3
Dial: numbers, hours and minute marker covered with superluminova C3
- this guarantees a precise reading also at night !
Movement: a nice sapphire case makes the automatic chronograph movement Valjoux 7753 visible.
STOWA special feature:
The Flieger Chrono is also available as handwinding version.
For this we built a complex movement bridge.
Thus the very nice mechanism of the chronograph can be seen even more detailed
