Flieger Logo, design icon.
The Flieger with Logo was the first watch which STOWA remade under the leadership of Jörg Schauer in 1997. After one year of developing (Jörg Schauer took over STOWA from the son of the founder, Werner Storz, in 1996), this model was introduced at the Basel Fair in 1997. At the time, only IWC, one of the five authorised prior manufacturers, offered pilot watches with original design. The first watches were equipped with collectable movements (e.g. Unitas 6300 N and 187) and sold quickly. Up to now, STOWA has made this successful model in original form and design for 16 years.
The mechanical movement of your watch
For the model Flieger Logo you have the choice between three versions of the movement.
The pictures of the movement variations you can see below in the gallery!
1. ETA 2824-2 BASIC (deliverable from June 2014) from EUR 650.- (incl. V.A.T.)
2. ETA 2824-2 TOP (deliverable mid of February 2014, extra costs Euro 80.-incl. V.A.T.)
3. ETA 2824-2 TOP with blued screws (deliverable mid of February 2014, extra costs Euro 130.- incl. V.A.T.)
Although the more expensive movement is built with partly selected components both movements run comparably good.
The STOWA-watchmaker take a lot of their time to regulate your watch.
You won't notice a difference when the watch is on your wrist.
You can choose the movement you want to order directly under the picture of the watch.
