A beautiful pocket watch provided the basic design for our classic Marine collection.
This design is available for some automatic watches in 40 mm and in the slightly larger 41 mm for handwinding models.
All watches include our blued steel hands.
With beautifully designed features of traditional chronographs, pocket or pilot watches. The chronograph designs are also based on the template of historic pocket watches. The dial impresses with its embossed numerals which has been manufactured in a complex process that dates 80 years ago.
Simple and functional.
The first Antea model was created in 1938/40.
Some of the original watches are on display at the STOWA Museum.
Currently, we build them in 4 different sizes.
Our Antea KS and Antea KS 41 with handwinding movement and Antea 365 as well as Antea 390 with automatic movement.
STOWA is one of the few companies that made original pilot watches in the 1940s.
In the mid 90's we were the second company, next to IWC (Schaffhausen) to represent this tradition and to once again add these models to our range. In addition to the classic version in the original design we now also offer versions with date display.
